IYC Scholarship Requirements

(Please Print & Mail)

• Official enrollment (at least part – time) at Illinois State University
• Sophomore, Junior or First Semester Senior year status
• Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
• One full year membership in IYC
• 500-word essay expressing how receiving the scholarship will benefit you
• Must be recommended by an ISU department faculty member

EACH SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION PACKET MUST CONTAIN THE FOLLOWING:

1. A 500-word essay expressing the student’s interest in receiving the scholarship and how such will benefit you.
2. A personal resume
3. A letter of recommendation from a department faculty member
   
4. A current academic transcript
   
5. A completed application form
